you Stay and investigate the trembling; you decide that you are a risk taker and hop down into the cave on the way down. You have time to contemplate your rash actions before you hit the ground with a thud then you look up and you are astonished by what you see. It's Professor Edward and the young girl you remember seeing back at the lab. The girl seems to be wounded, blood is leaking from her leg and it seems to be slashed. The professor is holding her, dragging her away from something. You tear your eyes away from the gruesome scene to see what is going on and then you see…. shadow hands with sharp claws coming from the portal and when you look at the portal you only see the void there's nothing, no color only void but when you look closer you feel like…
Something is staring back

And in instant you know what you have to do. You rush towards the portal dodging the shadow hands that come at you left and right.there a close call one hand almost gets you. You weave to the right and narrowly avoid it but just as you reach the runes below the portal 2 shadow hands stab into your back you don't feel anything because of the shock but you know your time is limited. You kick one of the runes out of the circle encapsulating the portal. It closes almost immediately with a inaudible sound you take a moment to reflect on the pretty cool thing you just did, well it would be even cooler if you weren't about to die. Just as you black out you hear voices than darkness....

Then you wake up and look around you. You seem to be in the labs medical bay you briefly wonder if this is some kinda near death hallucination intill you see dr Jennie and professer Edward near your bed. they both smile when they see you up. they fill you in on what happend. apparently that portal to whatever that void was was opend becuse of Edward and his colluge attemted escape. they messed up with the portal and almost died due to it. the professer express his thanks and then both him and Dr jennie leave.it seems like eveything turned out alright you lay back in bed and think about the events of today untill you fall back to sleep...
